Now we have a problem with installing/deinstalling of Sudoku with new versions of phpBB 3.2.1-3.2.2 and following versions.



UMIL is no longer supported. The folder includes/db/db_tools.php no longer exists. So you can not install or uninstall

would you please help to get it to work again?



On my live board it is still installed, updates up to phpBB 3.2.1 haven't made problems. But if it stops to work with another update I can not uninstall it, and nobody is able to new install



Please help, such a lot of people love this game.

the only I have is Sudoku_MOD_v.4.0.0

it's BETA and it was tested and installed on sile's board phpBB 3.1.x



they(phpbb team) changed folders to namespaces, MODs to EXSTENSIONS and so on...sad story

I installed it under 3.1. too - but now we have 3.2.2... and PHP 7

UMIL is no longer supported.

UMIL folder there is only as an installation script container



und we haven't any problems with PHP version

it works even under PHP 7.2.1x64

to know what does exist instead I have to install a 3.2.x phpbb board to investigate "what the hell THEY do new" and write the "next version" of the Sudoku MOD---so I "need free time" to do it

o, I am not in a hurry - but a little bit afraid with every new update of phpBB :D



I hope you find the time. phpBB is alive - and so they change it all few months :D

can't install fresh PHPBB 3.2.2 on my server

the problem is PHP 7 + Symfony that makes install tab link as install/app.php/install

and I have no time for a "rain dance" now---too much work besides this

but the problems is in PHP 7+Symfony+IIS Web Server(Windows)



when I have time i'll downgrade PHP to 5.4 on my local server and try once more

hp7.1.14 does work for me without problems with phpBB 3.2.2.

But Windows Server I don't know.... who uses Windows on a web server??? Have not read any problem about it.



Don't you think PHP 5.4 is a little bit too old? 5.6.33 - ok... Most of extensions do not work without 5.6. and 5.4 is out of support. But how you think it is the best.

I use Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard x64 Edition



but the same problem is on Windows 10 local server(next generation)

PHP for Windows is slightly different than PHP for nix



maybe 64 bit PHP7 is the reason
